Rasmussen is the solo project of John Rasmussen.
He is based out of Denver Colorado. His styles range from harsh noise to experimental electronic / minimal electronic / techno / 8bit. John began performing in 1999 after many years of recording. Originally John started Page 27 with John Gross and for years around that time he played cello for 6 years.
Rasmussen uses the following equipment
Computers running many combinations of music and dsp software, Ableton 10, Max/Max4Live, Pure Data, Processing, VSTs, Reaper, and a few other odds and ends. Some custom VSTs written by John.
Drum machines and synths such as the Korg Minilogue, Dave Smith Mopho, Roland TB03, Roland TR08, Launchpad controller, Korg EA1/ER1, old casio keyboards, circuit bent instruments, various pedals and midi controllers.
